What are the costs associated with this program?
Our eCommerce Accelerator program leverages the global size and scale of iHerb.com, so that our costs are far less than if you were to manage your customer service, process your orders in-house or use an outside 3PL or 3rd party growth accelerator platform.
Who owns the site and customer's list? Will iHerb also promote my products or other products to the list of my customers?
You are the exclusive owner of your entire DTC site, including the list of customers. We will use your customer's information exclusively to communicate with them regarding the orders they place on your site.
Can my DTC site ship to international destinations just as iHerb.com does?
At this time, DTC store setups through the eCommerce Accelerator program are limited to U.S. customers. For global exposure, we will work with your team to list your products and link your brand’s landing page on iHerb.com.
What if we decide to stop using eCommerce Accelerator? Is there a penalty?
There are no penalties if, for any reason, you wish to process your orders in house, or send them to a different channel. We simply ask that you provide a 90 days notice.
Our current site offers an autoship program. Can it be implemented via eCommerce Accelerator too?
Yes, we can support autoship functionality.
My brand already has 1000s of reviews on iHerb.com. Can they be added to my site?
Yes, we will copy all English reviews posted by customers to your site.
Can I offer daily or weekly discounts on my eCommerce Accelerator site?
Yes! You control your marketing, advertising and promotions on your DTC site.
What type of customer service does the eCommerce Accelerator program offer?
As part of the eCommerce Accelerator program, your DTC site will be supported by the iHerb customer service department, which is 24 hrs a day email support. We are to add a live 24 hrs chat soon.
Can I sell other products carried on iHerb in addition to my own brand?
Yes! Increase the revenue of your DTC site by offerring products that you do not currently carry or produce. Through eCommerce Accelerator, you will be able to select from the entire iHerb.com inventory of 30,000+ skus to your online DTC store, allowing you to increase basket size and capture additional customers.
How can we qualify for the eCommerce Accelerator program?
In order to qualify for the eCommerce Accelerator program, your brand must meet the following requirements:
